Is there hazing at Aqua ad Vinum?+
No. We do everything we can to make sure everyone feels at ease, with fun activities, plenty of time to get to know your fellow students, and plenty of parties. Our motto: nothing required, everything allowed.
Do I need to be a member to come by once?+
No, you can come check out the vibe up to three times before you need to become a member.
Do I automatically become a member if I join the intro camp?+
Yes. Joining the intro camp automatically gets you a year of AAV membership.
Where and when is the soos?+
Our sociëteit, De Dop, sits above Café De Heeren at Vlasmarkt 37 in Middelburg. We're open Tuesday and Thursday, 20:00 to 23:00. On Thursdays we often carry on downstairs in De Heeren itself afterwards.
I don't speak Dutch, can I still join?+
Absolutely. AAV is an international association: English-speaking members are also very welcome, and we have members from all over the world.
What does membership cost?+
Membership costs 20 euros per year.
